A beautiful sanded Tencel and linen mix dressmaking fabric in a range of colours.
A medium weight dressmaking fabric with a soft, slightly peached finished and a woven linen appearance. The high proportion of Tencel fibres makes this dress fabric breathable and temperature regulating whilst also making is crease and crinkle resistant, and comfortable to wear.
This Tencel and linen mix dress fabric has some soft drape and is opaque, making is suitable for a range of garments including shirts, dresses, trousers and jumpsuits.
Tencel has many sustainability credentials. It is a wood based, cellulosic fibre created using a closed-loop production which re-uses 99.8% solvents and dyes. It is biodegradable and compostable.
Sanded Tencel & Linen - Red is 70% Lenzing Tencel, 30% Linen and is 150cm wide and 180gsm.
Machine wash this dressmaking fabric at 30 degrees and line dry and low iron. 1-3% shrinkage.
