This digital pattern shows you how to sew a Quilted Kit Bag. The Quilted Kit Bag has two hand held straps, one long adjustable shoulder strap, a gathered side pocket, internal pocket and outer front pocket. The is the option to add an elasticated cross over front section. Fully lined, the Quilted Kit Bag is a really fun sewing project!

This pattern is a digital download. The pattern and instruction booklet can be printed on a home printer and is compatible with both A4 and US letter paper. An A0 copy shop file will also be included in the download if you prefer to have it printed out on a large scale. The documents are written in English.

Fabric Needed: (exact fabric amounts are listed in the instruction booklet)
Outer - Light to medium weight cotton. Quilters cotton works well. If using a lightweight fabric, make sure to use interfacing where noted.
Lining - Mid weight cotton such as pre-shrunk calico.
WADDING - Mid loft synthetic wadding.
Interfacing - Iron on standard/ firm interfacing.
Trimmings/ hardware:
1x Closed end zip - 46cm (18’’) 2.5cm (1’’) wide
2x D rings - 2.5cm (1’’)
2x Swivel Hook/ Clip
1x Slider
6mm Flat elastic - 21cm (8’’)
Optional trimmings:
