Float away on a romantic dream of your own sewing with the Park Lane Dress and Blouse!
Choose between a flowing midi dress with delicate waistline gathers or the elegant darted blouse, both finished with a keyhole opening and button and rouleau loop closure at the back neck. Then mix and match amongst two different necklines and three sleeve variations, along with an optional shoulder ruffle. The full-length sleeves feature a button cuff with placket whereas the more voluminous mid and short sleeves finish with a plain band cuff.
Skill level: confident beginner/intermediate.
This pattern includes B-cup and D-cup options. This does not necessarily correspond to your bra cup size.
Suitable fabrics
For the dress: fabrics with plenty of drape such as viscose/rayon, crepe, silk
For the blouse: as for the dress, but it would also work in soft cotton lawn, chambray, double gauze
Both: a small amount of interfacing for the cuffs and neckline; if your fabric is very fine or shifty you may want to also interface the zip area.
Notions
All versions: 1 x 12mm/ 1/2 inch button (or preferred size)
Full-length sleeve option: 4 x small cuff buttons (e.g. 9mm/3/8 inch)
For dress: 1 x 41cm/16-inch concealed zipper
