SEWING LEVEL

The MADE-line PANTS pattern is designed with beginners in mind. It is considered a beginner sewing pattern.

PATTERN DETAILS

  • Seam allowance is included in this pattern.

  • The pattern includes layered files to easily print only desired size(s).

SIZING

  • This pattern includes 15 inclusive sizes with the Hip measurement ranging from 34”(86cm)-62”(156cm).

FABRIC & YARDAGE

  • This pattern requires between 1.6 - 3.25 yds/meters of woven fabric depending on the size you choose.

  • Light to mid weight wovens are recommended for this pattern, but a heavy denim would also work nicely (as seen in our website). The pockets must be made from a light weight woven such as cotton lawn or voile. Some possible wovens could include, linen, viscose, tencel, denim, cotton lawn, cotton poplin, quilting cotton, cotton twill etc. 

  • Cottons poplin, quilting cotton and linen are great fabrics for beginners as they hold their shape.

NOTIONS

  • Safety Pin - this is used to help you feed the elastic through the waistband.
