For Spring Summer 2025, you are cordially invited to join Liberty Fabrics as we raise the curtain on Retold, a 150-year anniversary theatrical spectacular. Divided into four acts - The Stage, The Cast, The Audience, The Next Act – this collection goes behind scenes of the iconic Tudor building and into the eclectic emporium where our story is retold.
Named after Madeleine Lawrence, a gifted artist who worked for the Silver Studio during the 1930s, this design spotlights wild anemone clusters exuding radiance, romance, and finesse. Madeleine is part of The Cast act of Retold, bringing into the spotlight this play’s cast of architects, writers, artists, and designers have paved the way for the artistic movements Liberty have heralded since our doors first opened - leading figures that have played an integral part in weaving new narratives into the fabric of the building.
Liberty's Crepe de chine is one of the best silk bases for daytime or evening wear – it’s effortlessly luxe, with a lightweight drape that’s made more durable by its matte, slightly rough surface. Try using crepe de chine to create a louche effect with wide-leg trousers and loosely tailored shirts, or with fluted sleeves and ruffled accents for a romantic feel.

We now sell all our dressmaking fabric in HALF METRE increments. The price is per HALF METRE. Enter 2 in the quantity box to buy 1 metre etc. All orders will be cut in a continuous piece.
