Painted in flat gouache, this all-over floral design features a cheerful arrangement of primula flowers. Celebrated all their yellow-tinged glory, they are depicted in clusters that grow up the fabric. This print is part of the Yellow story of the Spring/Summer 2024 collection, examining the joyful spirit of this multi-faceted colour, with designs influenced by art movements such as Expressionism and Symbolism to the radiant beauty of pretty primulas, primroses, lemons, bees and buttercups.

For this collection the Liberty Fabrics designers engaged with print’s most elemental pigments, assembled here into four compelling stories: ‘Spectrum’, ‘Red’, ‘Blue’ and ‘Yellow’. The collection explores the cultural, natural and historical components that make up the light and shade of everything around us, taking us into the heart of each hue.
