AMBRE BLOUSE

Loose blouse with 3/4 sleeves and V-neck. It is buttoned on the front and decorated with ties at the end of the sleeves. Composed of 8 pieces only, this pattern is easy and fast to realize, even for the starting seamstresses.

WHICH FABRIC TO CHOOSE?

Any fabric that keeps its shape but is sufficiently flexible and without transparency. It must not be too fluid. Choose linen, cotton gabardine, jeans, velvet, Broderie anglaise ... For the blouse model of the photo we used a fabric with a blend of cotton and polyester. It’s a fabric that is quite flexible but that keep the shape at the same time.

SUPPLIES

For a fabric of 140 cm / 4 feet 7 inches width:

Haberdashery:

7 buttons of 15mm / ½ inch

Fusible interfacing, for example Vlieseline H180 for gluing the facing as well as the ties of sleeves

1 spool of the appropriate color

a bias tool (bias tape maker)
