Description

A Fabric Godmother exclusive, printed onto the most wonderful quality viscose lawn dressmaking fabric.

A beautiful folky floral design set in alternating stripes of entwining motifs.  Perfect for a spring into summer creation.

A fantastic super soft lightweight viscose dressmaking fabric with plenty of drape.

We now sell all our dressmaking fabric in HALF METRE increments. The price is per HALF METRE. Enter 2 in the quantity box to buy 1 metre etc. All orders will be cut in a continuous piece.

Composition: 100% viscose

Weight: 87gsm 

Width: 142cm 

Viscose is a fibre that is derived from wood pulp, making it a natural fabric that is more breathable than cotton. It is also known as Rayon.

Please allow 5% shrinkage for this fabric.

Machine washable at 30 degrees, cool iron, hang out to dry straight after washing, please note when you wash viscose it can become stiff when wet but the softness and drape will return as it dries.

    Lovely vintage pattern. This is not sheer but fairly light weight. I personally wouldn't use it for a dress unless it was tiered and gathered to give it a bit of substance. Better for a blouse.

    I don’t ordinarily order fabric online, but couldn’t pass this up! I am pleased with the quality, and it’s gorgeous.     This is a very delicate lightweight floaty viscose with a wonderful drape. The colours in the floral stripes are strong and very pretty. The background is cream, not white or even off white, it's very creamy and when you get up very close its actually a pinky cream. I absolutely love it. It's a tiny bit sheer and I have lined my bodice dress but not the skirt. See @makingprettypatterns for more deets coming soon!

    I fell in love with this fabric as soon as I saw on your site, but unfortunately was out of stock quickly. Thank you for informing me when it was back in stock. I ordered ASAP and wondering wether to make a top or a dress. I adore this print and colours.
