Description

GARMENT DETAILS

A woven t-shirt with capped sleeves and scoop neck. Fitted at the shoulders, this top falls into a loose shape below the bust.

Techniques involved include straight seams, bias binding, setting sleeves and basic hemming.

Suggested Fabrics: Light to medium light weight fabrics such as cotton, silk, lawn, voile, charmeuse, crepe de chine or wool crepe. Extra fabric needed to match plaids, stripes or one-way design fabrics.

    Perfect casual tee

    This is such a great pattern! The perfect woven tee- can be causal in a plain fabric or a great way to show off a special print or texture. Can be made with 90cm of wide fabric. Can scoop in the waist to make a bit more fitted and flowy, or kept loose and boxy. I often find other patterns come up tight on the sleeves but these are perfect for me.

    I really like this top very comfy cool and casual for everyday wear or make it in a nice linen for a casual evening out in the beautiful summer time. I french seamed all of it and made my own bias tape for the neck line. I used a nice light cotton next time i will use linen or maybe lawn.

    Love this patter, although not a beginner sewer I just enjoy a lovely quick simple sew. The instructions were very clear with drawings included. I would say a beginner could definitely complete this within one day.
    The result is fantastic, fits well & with so many fabric choices you'll never be bored with this great Tee. Looks super with Jeans but made with a lighter jersey would be excellent for summer with your shorts
