This medium weight viscose velvet and has a soft drape. The lurex weave gives this dressmaking fabric a fabulous shine and it catches the light beautifully. It would be perfect for special occasion wear, party dressing and weddings! Use to sew dresses, jumpsuits and trousers - or why not make a luxurious co-ord.
Ethel Lurex Stripe Velvet - Black is 97% polyester 3% metallic and is 130cm wide.
Gentle machine wash. Do not tumble dry. Do not iron.
When ironing velvet, always iron the reverse side of the fabric. Lightly press and use plenty of steam to avoid crushing the pile. If the pile does become slightly crushed in transit, we recommend to lightly steaming the reverse of the fabric to return the pile to it's original condition.

We now sell all our dressmaking fabric in HALF METRE increments. The price is per HALF METRE. Enter 2 in the quantity box to buy 1 metre etc. All orders will be cut in a continuous piece.
