The Ivy blouse will seduce you with its batwing sleeves . A loose and fluid cut but structured by pretty gathers that highlight the shoulder. It's the little detail that stands out for a guaranteed "wow" effect .
Making the gathers is the main difficulty of the blouse, which nevertheless remains a simple model that can be sewn quickly. The neckline is finished with a facing.
As for the sleeves, you can make the Ivy blouse with 4/5 sleeves that reach above the wrist or with shorter 3/4 sleeves that reach below the elbow.
WHICH FABRICS SHOULD YOU CHOOSE TO SEW THE IVY BLOUSE?
The Ivy blouse is perfect made in flowing fabrics. Viscose or silk will give the batwing sleeves a nice drape. So you can't go wrong by sewing Ivy in a soft and flowing fabric. This is what I recommend especially if you are not used to wearing clothes with sleeves that have a lot of fullness. However, poplin gives a more structured side to the blouse and adds volume .
