Description

A beautiful dyed linen and cotton mix dressmaking fabric. The look and feel of linen with a few less crumples!

This fabric would make a lovely pair of wide leg trousers, a long top or summer dress.

137cm wide 55% linen 45% cotton

Machine wash this dressmaking fabric at 30 degrees and line dry. 

We now sell all our dressmaking fabric in HALF METRE increments. The price is per HALF METRE. Enter 2 in the quantity box to buy 1 metre etc. All orders will be cut in a continuous piece.

We try our best to give an accurate representation of our fabrics, however due to varying monitor settings the colours may differ slightly to the original fabric. If you want to be sure about the colour, weight or size of a design please order a sample.

    I received the ruby red linen and adore the deep, warm red. The weave is slightly loose, making the fabric softer than some coarse linens. This will give a dress or top a lovely drape. I cannot recommend this fabric enough, linen is my favourite fabric and can be layered to wear all year round. I can't get enough of this and would rather like it in every colour!

    I ordered cotton/linen fabric in two colours, red and navy. The parcel arrived promptly and the colours were spot on. I have used a Simplicity pattern 8175 to duplicate a skirt in a certain High Street store and I have to say it has come out a dead ringer at a quarter of the cost. The fabric is nice to work with, just remember to over lock to stop the fraying, but that said, really pleased with result and worth a bit of extra effort.
    Will certainly be back for more.
