Description

A light weight calico fabric, often used for crafts or to make a toile prior to sewing.

100% unbleached cotton

150cm wide

It is recommended that you wash this fabric prior to use

We now sell all our dressmaking fabric in HALF METRE increments. The price is per HALF METRE. Enter 2 in the quantity box to buy 1 metre etc. All orders will be cut in a continuous piece.

We try our best to give an accurate representation of our fabrics, however due to varying monitor settings the colours may differ slightly to the original fabric. If you want to be sure about the colour, weight or size of a design please order a sample.

    I planned to make a toile of the Granville shirt with this calico but feel it's a little too heavy as my final fabric will be a lightweight cotton. Loved the quality of the calico so am happy to save it for something else.

    If you need to make a toile this is exactly what you need , I am sure there are other uses but currently this is what I do with it.

    I needed some calico as I am starting to make a wedding outfit for my Mother. We need to make some major adjustments to the chosen patterns so the calico is ideal for the creation process!

    Excellent service fast and efficient, with assistance from Fabric Godmother.
    Have not washed the fabric due to what its use is for.
    Have cut it and it is doing the job perfectly.

    This is a good quality lightweight calico, lovely to work with, and really wide! Shipping was very fast, which is always nice.
