I am always sharing lots of beautiful patterned fabrics with you florals, polka dots, zig zag stripes, you name it we stock it! But lets stop and spend some time looking at some of the beautiful plain fabrics we have as well.
This week I got 2 new plain peachskin fabrics in bright colours and it made me think plain can be just as bold as a pattern.
The Agatha peachskin comes in
coral and
fuchsia and has a lovely soft finish I can only describe as a matte sheen. I would use this fabric for a
Bettine from Tilly & the buttons as the drape and colour would make this simple pattern really pop. Or you could make a blouse like the
Keana from Named patterns that would see you through to Autumn (yes I really did just mention that, summer will not last forever!!)
