SEW LIBERATED PATTERNS

Posted by Fabric Godmother on 1st Jan 1970

If you haven't seen the lovely patterns from Sew Liberated then you really should take a peek at them.
Run by husband and wife team Patrick and Meg from South Carolina these patterns have a lovely country rustic feel to them feel to them.

The Simple Skinny Jeans patterns is an ideal first dip into making your own jeans or a quick project for a simple pair of comfy trousers. Cleverly based on an pair of post maternity trousers Meg owned these stretch jeans have an elastic waistband. Why not make them in the Barkweave Stretch Denim and use some of our Roma Jersey as a waistband, you could even go for a bright contrast waistband rather than a blue one!

Brynna is a pretty dress with an elasticated waist and a sailor style tie collar. Brynna would be ideal for a cotton poplin like Eleanor and could take you from office to the pub this summer just add a pair of heels, a clutch and some pretty earrings.

Aida blouse would like great paired with the Simple Skinny Jeans or a skirt or just about anything in your wardrobe. I like the idea of making it in a flowing fabric like the Tiny Floral Viscose.

Sew Liberated also make great kids patterns like the Mei Tai Baby Carrier and the Flora Twirly Skirt and Tunic.
