Scuba fabric has had a really big surge over the last year or so. It is an amazing fabric to sew with, it has loads of body so is great for structured garment and it handles really easily. Best of all it doesn't fray so if you are a lazy sewer, like me, no need to finish your edge - bonus!!
I think that scuba works best with simple patterns as the seams can get a bit bulky, check out my Pinterest board for some ideas of you can do with scuba.
