Join the tribe

I love the tribal designs that are out at the moment.
One of the trends we are seeing is 'African' wax prints with Burberry Prorsum leading the way.
This type of fabric, popular in Africa, is often assumed to originate there. However, the material was thought to have been originally developed in Indonesia and then exported to England and the Netherlands, who reproduced it and finally it was sold to African merchants. Today the Netherlands is still the top producer of the best Wax Prints hence the names it is often referred to 'Guaranteed Dutch Java, or Veritable Dutch Hollandais'.
I love the idea of a modern cutting edge design made from this traditional fabric.
