A while ago I had a request from a customer (ok it was my Mum) to stock some plain cotton lawn to use as linings for summer clothes.
Our anti static lining fabric is great for lining winter skirts to stop them sticking to you tights but in this lovely warm weather we are having a cotton lawn makes a beautiful lining for cotton, linen and other natural fabrics.
You don't need to stick to a plain lining why not have a bit of fun (if you fabric is not going to show) and use a patterned lawn to line your summer clothes. Cotton voiles also make perfect lining fabrics for summer and they are even lighter in weave than the lawns.
The solid cotton lawn is also ideal for lightweight blouses and dresses to keep the heat off.
