Birgitta Helmersson Zero Waste Workwear Jacket PDF (Intermediate)

I bought this pattern because of the concept of Zero waste and thought the design was innovative. I loved the style of the jacket. I am quite an experienced dressmaker but found the instructions very long and challenging. I am quite new to download patterns, and I recommend that you get the whole lot printed out to give you a hard copy where you can make your own notes. I made the mistake of not doing this. The explanation of how to use the Templates and the notch placement, particularly on the front neck / side vent facing, was difficult to follow, as was the written instruction for the finishing of the bottom hem and the front band. But the sleeves are fabulous, a really clever design that was very straight-forward to achieve, and gave an excellent fit. I made an irreparable mistake with the neckline, but I will make another jacket to this pattern, now that I have figured it out, but I will have a lie down first.
