Description
This bias binding / bias tape maker allows you to make matching or contrast binding for finish all sorts of garment, accessories or homeware sewing projects. For example, bias binding will cover the raw edges inside your jacket or bag project, or finish the outer edge of a handmade quilt.
Cut a strip of light-to-medium weight woven fabric at a 45 degree angle to the grain of the fabric. This will allow the tape to bend and stretch around curves when applied to your project.
To use, cut a length of bias fabric twice the width of the narrow end of the bias maker. Feed the strip through the wide end and gently iron the binding as you pull it through.
