A wonderful deadstock linen and viscose mix dressmaking fabric. The look and texture of linen with the drape and breathability of viscose.
This light to medium weight fabric is supers soft and has a good amount of weight and drape. If you are looking for a more structured finish, a top tip would be to stabilise the seams with interfacing. This fabric is completely opaque and would be perfect for dresses, jumpsuits and matching top and trouser co-ords.
Amelia Linen & Viscose Mix - Seafoam is 23% linen and 77% viscose and 140cm wide and approximately 230gsm.
Viscose is a fibre that is derived from wood pulp, making it a natural fabric that is more breathable than cotton. It is also known as Rayon.
Please allow 5% shrinkage for this fabric.
Machine washable at 30 degrees, hang out to dry straight after washing, cool iron. Please note when you wash viscose it can become stiff when wet but the softness and drape will return as it dries.
